Arnold Ardevela,
MBA/HCM, CCS, CPC, CPC-H, CHCC, CCDI
President
In addition to his executive management experience, Arnold Ardevela is a trained physician, credentialed coder, and approved instructor. Mr. Ardevela has nearly 30 years of healthcare experience in hospitals, national healthcare consulting firms, and healthcare claims management. He holds a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Management.
Mr. Ardevela is a credentialed coder through both the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). He is a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) through AHIMA as well as being a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Professional Coder – Hospital (CPC-H) through the AAPC. Arnold is also an approved Professional Medical Coding Curriculum Instructor through the AAPC. He is a faculty member at the Tri-County Allied Health School.
Arnold is a Certified Healthcare Compliance Consultant (CHCC). He has conducted numerous DRG audits nationally beginning in 2003. As a trained physician, Arnold has had significant success in educating other physicians with regard to the benefits of improved documentation on reimbursement.
Mr. Ardevela has served as President of AE & Associates, LLC since its beginning in 2000. The company has grown significantly in services, revenues, and facilities under his leadership.Ester Ardevela, RN, MSN, NP-C, CCS
Chief Financial Officer
Ester Ardevela, CFO has over twenty- five years of healthcare experience. Her background is rich with experience from her years of critical care nursing and has been enhanced by her later work as a nurse practitioner in nephrology.
Ester worked for many years as an RN before going on to pursue a master of science in nursing from UCLA. She is a Certified Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Ester is also a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) through the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).
Ester has served as CFO of AE & Associates, LLC since 2003 and works collaboratively with the company president to successfully direct the company's daily operations.
Godfrey Medrano, MBA, BSCIS
Vice President, Operations
Godfrey Medrano is a strong leader with effective communication, analytical, and project management skills. He has broad experience in accounting, payroll, worker's compensation, and human resource administration.
Godfrey holds a Masters of Business Administration in addition to an undergraduate degree in computer information systems. He is currently pursuing an Information Systems Security Certificate.
Godfrey's education and experience have prepared him well to manage company operations.
Heidi Sovick , RHIA
Vice-President, Human Resources
Heidi is a very qualified health information professional with over 20 years of experience in acute care, managed care, and chemical dependency facilities. Heidi is a trained coder and has extensive experience with revenue cycle and data reporting. Heidi has managed all aspects of Health Information Management and Quality Management Departments. Heidi has successfully prepared several facilities for JCAHO, AOA, and California DHS accreditation surveys.
Heidi works closely with our clients and personnel to insure that quality and satisfaction is maintained at the highest possible levels.
Nancy Jangaon , RHIT
Director, HIM Consulting Dept
Nancy Jangaon has over thirty-five (35) years of healthcare experience in acute care, long term care, clinics, rehabilitation, and psychiatric services. She has extensive experience in JCAHO accreditation preparation. Nancy has utilized her management and administrative skills to own and operate her own national HIM consulting firm since 1975. In addition, Nancy has also successfully managed HIM, Case Management, Cancer Registry, Transcription, and Medical Staff Departments. Nancy 's nursing background provides her with great insight and credibility in the clinical arena.
Nancy 's training and experience make her a wonderful resource for our clients.
